Ruthy and Duce
Luke grilled us all lunch the other day. He made the burgers and started the grill and it was delicious.
We spent a weekend out in Vernal looking at Indian petroglyphs, visiting Josie's Cabin which was a little creepy. It was rumored that old Josie fed outlaws there and she was even said to have had a lamp shade made out of human skin. That night we took the kids to their very first Drive-in-Movie. I got super sick on the trip and was zero fun, but Alison and Morgan made sure everyone else had a great time. They went canoeing and paddle boarding out on Red Fleet Reservoir and the kids got to sleep out on the trampoline. They had a blast! Thanks so much Alison and Morgan!!

The next weekend Jeremy and Luke went with some friends to Lower Black Box. It's an amazing hike through a slot canyon carved out by the San Rafael River. In some places the sandstone canyon walls are 400 feet high. The hike is a lot of swimming and wading through the river. Luke did awesome and was even nicknamed Mountain Goat. It was a fun little trip for the two of them. Us girls back home had a nice relaxing weekend of watching movies and eating pizza. ;)
