November 2013

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our 9 year old Luke! We took him miniature golfing and rock climbing, ate pizza and wings and finished off the day with his favorite, red velvet cake.

On a nice Saturday we went fishing up at Deer Creek, ate a picnic lunch and made sandcastles.
Mom, Dad, Scott and Brittany were all here over the Thanksgiving break.  We all got together for a big ol' bonfire down at the barn.
Ruthy loved Scott and Brittany but would still get a little shy now and then. (Notice the finger in the nose, that's her awkward "I'm nervous" habit.)

 Finger in the nose again.

When roasting a million hot dogs in a giant bonfire it's a good idea to wear a welding mask. ;)

I loved being all together for Thanksgiving this year.
The drive up the canyon, on the way to cut down our Christmas tree, was a beautiful one.  It was full of frozen waterfalls and misty clouds.

Grandma Barker and Rice came up with us to get a tree too and go sledding.
