Some Fun Times

Getting treats at Target with Grandma.
I'm fairly certain Ruthy could spend her entire 4 year old life as a mermaid.
 Fun at our neighbors pool!
Field trip with Ava to the Bean Museum and Science center. And look who we found...
Little Ava and big Ava at a wedding.  Luke had a great flag football season this year. His team was the Broncos! They made it all the way to the semifinals. Luke was the a pretty good kicker and receiver. His dream is still to play for the NFL. ;)

 The deer hunt 2015
I love that these two have such a great time together.

Luke's first deer! It wasn't very big but he was pretty proud.
Happy to have Daddy home! Passed out and all cuddled up in his shirt.
The boys brought us back a cute new pet. We named him Mr. Toad but we called him Harny. He was a darling cuddly little guy. We loved him.  He ate flies and a cricket or two and a few lady bugs and then he stopped eating as good and a few days later we found little Harny had passed away just before Christmas. We were all sad and had a little burial service in the backyard.
In other news there was some stew making going on in the backyard. I think our entire neighborhood probably got a whiff of the nasty boiling brew. Luke wanted to turn his deer skull into a European mount. It did turn out pretty neat but man oh man was it a nasty process.

One night we went out and enjoyed looking at a great big Blood Moon!
Some pretty skies.
We tried out a new ice cream flavor, black licorice. Leah looved it! And a fun little fact, it makes your poop green.
Getting donuts on the way to school with Grandma.

Thanks Annie! Love the pictures!
But I was slightly disturbed by the connection of your pictures...
Toad - animal head - boiling cauldron - and the blood moon! ;)
