Summer of the Dinosaurs and Playing at the Lake

We took Luke and Ava to see Jurassic World with our friends Anna, Todd and Nate. It was some super intense fun! At one point in the movie Nate screamed like a girl and the rest of us had a hard time holding in our laughter. Ava bundled her self into a ball on her seat and she and I dug into each  others arms as tightly as we could stand. It was a fun movie. 

Then on Friday we decided to spend the day at the Zoo and were surprised to find it crawling with life sized moving dinosaurs!! It was great!! 

Only poor Ruthy didn't love them. She had a really hard time deciphering the difference between the real animals and the fake big scary ones...

They were pretty darn realistic how they moved and sounded.

Ruthy loved the porcupine, he was cute and she loved that it looked like he slicked back his hair with water just like she does. ;)

Enjoying a cold drink and some spicy nachos.

Later that evening we drove down to the lake to cool off.

There was a group of people out riding on the sandy beach in the sunset, it looked like so much fun...Sarah we are doing this!!

 Nothing beats a nasty lake sand exfoliation. :)
